Month of Giving
We invite you to give to FRC
during the 2021 Holiday season
As the holiday season approaches, and we are all checking presents off our lists, the Family Resource Center asks that you set aside some of your budget for our “Month of Giving.” Starting on Giving Tuesday, we want to spend the month showing our appreciation for our donors and show how much of an impact that your donations make. Stay tuned on our social media to hear more about our services, client testimonials, and why your donations are so important for our agency.
The Family Resource Center provides a number of services to people who have experienced domestic or sexual violence. These services are an integral part of our community, and could not happen without your support. Although we are a grant funded agency, there are restrictions on what we are allowed to use that grant money for. This is why we rely on donations from our community. These donations allow us to buy client needs, therapy supplies, and allow us to keep our community trainings free. These things are not always covered by grants (no donations go towards paying staff). Regular donations also ensure that we can continue paying for these things even if we lose some of our grant funding. We are also very grateful for in-kind donations of clothing, gift cards, food and toiletries that we can give to our clients.
We know that choosing to give your money away is not always an easy decision, but rest assured that your donations help us pour right back into our community. We help those affected by abuse and educate our community on the signs and symptoms of abuse so that we can help build a safer community.
If you would like to donate, please visit the donate tab on our website, or give us a call at 276-625-0219.
