40 Years of Serving
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Family Resource Center, Inc. (FRC), a non-profit agency devoted to providing services to domestic violence and sexual violence victims in Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth and Wythe counties and Galax city. This is a momentous occasion, and we have planned multiple ways to celebrate the incredible work the FRC has done over the past 40 years to help those in need.
FRC has been a beacon of hope for countless individuals and families in our communities, providing vital services such as advocacy, crisis counseling, court support, and shelter. FRC’s services have been essential in helping survivors to gain the strength and resources they need to break free from the cycle of domestic violence and to take important steps toward healing.
FRC is launching a “40 for 40” campaign for the year. We are requesting donations of $40 (or more) to further the FRC’s mission. Your donations will go towards providing services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our community, and will ensure that the FRC can continue to help those in need.
Please Save the Date for our 40th Anniversary Gala Celebration which is scheduled for Saturday, August 19 at the Country Club in Wytheville. We will be enjoying a catered meal and will celebrate many of the people who have been instrumental to FRC’s incredible achievements. Additional information about the gala will be available later in the year.
This anniversary marks a tremendous milestone for the FRC and the thousands of survivors it has helped over the past 40 years. We hope you will join us to celebrate FRC’s work and to help us continue to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
