Every October, the focus is on Domestic Violence Awareness.
Planning is already underway for 2022 awareness events and activities and we need YOU to help us make these a success!
FRC encourages the community to join with us to help get the word out about FRC’s full array of services and to attend one of our local awareness events, such as the Walk, Bingo & Silent Auction on Oct. 22 in downtown Hillsville, VA.

FRC invites YOU to help us raise awareness about Domestic Violence this October…
… and we are already working to plan events and activities.
As always, we are asking the community to help with the awareness and there are lots of ways you can get involved, including:
• Volunteer to help FRC distribute awareness ribbons and information
• Organize an event, presentation, or awareness table in your club, organization or church
• Share FRC’s posts via social media:

• Join together with friends & family to fundraise or do a donation drive for needed items.
• Purchase needed items from our Amazon Wish List or buy Gift Cards from local grocery stores.
• Sponsor or donate items for and/or participate in the
Awareness Walk, Bingo & Silent Auction in Hillsville, VA on Oct. 22
• Make a Monetary Donation in honor or memory of someone.
• Refer others to FRC.
